- Less maintenance. Volvo brand machinery requires less upkeep than other brands. Less time spent in maintenance means more time spent on the field getting the job done. And when we do need the inevitable equipment fix, we go to John Chartier of McClung-Logan Equipment Company. McClung-Logan fixes our equipment quickly or gives us a loaner machine if more time is required. That way, we can be sure to get the job done as quickly as possible.
- Better function. Our Volvo brand machinery also has OptiShift technology, which allows it to shift easily without having to brake. That, plus the torque parallel linkage which keeps loads of ground or gravel level when moving, helps Reliable Contracting to move faster and more efficiently.
- Conserves fuel. The newer models of Volvo machinery consume less fuel, which means that we’re saving on the cost of gas for every project, as well as being friendlier to the environment. We also use the Volvo CareTrack telematics system, which monitors how many hours the machines have been running, if there have been any overheating or shutdown, how much idle time was spent, and how much fuel was consumed. The CareTrack system helps us to run our machines more efficiently to avoid overheating or wasting fuel.
