2014 is going to be another big year for Reliable Contracting. We already have a few projects in the works and are wrapping up on some older projects. With the FedEx project coming to a close, we want to share the new projects with you so we can prepare to continue to better the community throughout the year.
The following four projects are just some of what is coming up on the schedule for the very near future. The first is a utility relocation for Wilhelm Commercial Builders. This project will require $154 thousand in site repairs and a post installation utility line job by another contractor. Although this is not a particularly large job, it will keep our crews busy during these slower winter months.
We will be doing another utility replacement coming up, but this one will be for Wolf Creek Federal Services, Inc. This project will be slightly smaller than the Wilhelm project, but includes $120 thousand in asphalt paving with curb and gutter replacement. We’ll also be installing sidewalks after another contractor installs a new utility line.
Our two other projects are in the million dollar range. The first is going to be about a one million dollar project for the Clark Construction. We’re working on a continuation of the National Businesses Park. We will be doing site development that includes sewer, water, and storm drain installation, plus grading, sediment controls and paving. Our biggest project is a 1.4 million dollar project for Hensel Phelps. It is mostly asphalt paving and aggregate placement, but it will be a LOT of it.
While we’re on the topic of bettering the community, Reliable would like to remind you that today is national “Wear Red” day to support heart health. February is heart diseases awareness month. Heart Disease is still at the top of the leading fatal diseases among Americans. Many heart diseases are treatable, but you need to take good care of your heart by remembering to get a good cardiovascular workout a few times a week and eating as many whole, heart healthy foods as possible. Reliable encourages you to take charge of your health and get regular annual physicals. Early detection from physicals is biggest contributor to fighting these diseases.
